Her favorite moments as a Realtor have been her involvement in the Presidential Scholarship review process. The Realtors Association of Maui raises money annually to scholarship High School Seniors from Maui, Moloka'i and Lana'i. Reading the stories of these young people, their hardships and their will to succeed was a highlight during her office as President. It has since motivated her to begin her own scholarship for native Hawaiians in honor of her mom, Henrietta Leilehua Keyes. Mom was born and raised on Maui, orphaned at age 10 and self educated. She became a master bridge and tennis player and saw all 3 of her daughters through college. She's still around to enjoy her mo'opuna and a scholarship in her honor as well!
Moana is a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS). Her biggest adventure was negotiating and closing on her apartment in Paris in 2001. Moana is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) as well as a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB). She received her Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Hawaii.
She is also an accomplished pianist and songwriter and was nominated for Religious Album of the Year for the 2004 Na Hoku Awards. She finished her second CD, "Sweet Rain" but got too busy to release it. She's working on her third album.
One of her all time favorite things to do is dance the hula. She loves Kahiko (ancient) as well as modern and studies beneath Kumu Gordean Lee Bailey of "Wehiwehi 'O Leilehua" under the tradition of Aunty Maiki Aiu Lake. She also loves to sing and play the ukulele, especially the music of Kahauanu Lake.
Moana has 2 daughters and a son, is an empty nester, and has 7 grandchildren. She speaks 3 languages and above all things loves to cook for her friends. When things get stressful she makes pasta or French food.
She lives in Keokea, Kula with her husband and dog "Ulu". Together they have raised 8 golden retrievers over 35 years, 1 cat, lots of fish and 3 kids.

About Lynette Pendergast
Lynette Pendergast and her husband Scott moved to Maui from Helena, Montana in the fall of 2008. When asked what brought them here – her answer is always “a dream.” That, and they were tired of the snow and cold in Montana!!
Lynette sees many similarities between Maui and Montana. Both are beautiful – Montana with its wide open spaces, its mountains and lakes; Maui with the ocean, the West Maui Mtns and of course Haleakala. The sunsets are spectacular – both in Maui & in Montana. Both are quite rural – especially Upcountry, where she lives. She has found people from Montana and people from Maui are very friendly & welcoming - and very private and reserved.
Lynette has many activities she enjoys: walking – a great way to take in the beauty of the surroundings and to spend time outdoors, golf – and isn’t this a great place to golf, reading, spending time at the beach, water activities – stand up paddle boarding, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and just relaxing. One of her favorite activities is traveling, especially to see her 5 grandchildren and their parents living in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, San Diego, California and currently in Havana Cuba.
Lynette began her real estate adventure purchasing her homes and rental property, both in Montana and Maui. It wasn’t until she moved to Maui that she became a Realtor ® Salesperson and then 3 years later, a Realtor ® Broker. Now as Broker-in-Charge for the Makawao and Paia offices of Equity One Real Estate, Inc. she is able to work with the agents and share her knowledge and experience – learning with each transaction.
Lynette is active in the Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui, the President Elect in 2016/17 and President in 2017/18. She chairs the Community Service Committee and participates in Highway Cleanup, the yearly Electronic pickup, and Polio Plus – the Rotary push to eradicate polio worldwide. She is also a Paul Harris Fellow. Lynette is also active in the Upcountry Chapter of BNI (Business Network International) having been a Charter member of that Club as well as Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer.
Having made the move from the mainland, Lynette is happy to share some of the things she learned – and are learning every day living on this beautiful island. Lynette loves traveling around the island, discovering new areas It is fun to see how different each area of the island is – and how everyone looking for their piece of paradise sees the different areas of Maui and either loves it or can travel a few miles down the road, or up the mountain to have a completely different view of Maui.
If you are looking for your piece of paradise, please call or email Lynette. She would love to help you find it!

In addition to real estate, Alysha enjoys Stand Up Paddling, gardening, hiking, family time and taking her furry best friend for rides around the awe inspiring island of Maui with Sidney. The entire family enjoys being on Maui and giving back to the place we chose as home.

About Felice Miller
Between enjoying the ocean, kiting, stand-up paddling, working in her organic garden and living a heathy life style, Felice Miller is living the Island Dream! Felice was born and raised in Japan and after high school, moved to San Francisco to attend college. She met her husband Paul on the North shore of Oahu 36 years ago on her frequent trips to Asia. They fell in love with Maui and raised their family in the sleepy beach town called Ku’au just a few doors down from the famous Mama’s Fish House. The windsurfing industry had just started up and more and more people were discovering Paia and Maui’s North shore. They decided they wanted land so they bought land in “UpCountry” Haiku and created a working orchard and tree farm.
Paul runs a heavy machinery business to help clients build their new homes and specializes in septic systems, site preparation and landscaping. Between the two of them, they have been able to help many grateful clients and friends make Maui their home.
Prior to Real Estate, Felice was a Hair and Make-up Artist in the wedding and fashion industry. Being bilingual, her business here on Maui took off with the Japanese wedding industry and then grew to commercials, television and the movie industry. You can still find her on locations on the top of Haleakala, in the jungles of Hana or out on a sailboat still taking on interesting jobs. Her clientele would ask about real estate on Maui and that’s when she decided to get her license.
Felice has over 14 years of Real Estate experience assisting buyer-clients in finding their perfect property or selling their homes. Her friendly personality and positive energy makes her a pleasure to be around. Her eye for details and quick response and going the extra mile sets her apart.
